Meet our Farmers & Founders

Jonathan and Amanda receiving their new Kubota 3301, an award for their work in food insecurity by the Kubota Tractor Corporation.

Jonathan and Amanda Lawler founded Brandywine Creek Farms in 2015 sitting at their kitchen table while drinking coffee and discussing upcoming plans for the farm for that year.

Their son, Gabriel had explained that their were children at his school utilizing a food pantry.  This didn't sit right with them so they decided to dedicate that years harvest to addressing food insecurity.

Since that day, Brandywine Creek Farms has donated over four million pounds of produce in Central Indiana.  More than 40 individuals have went through Brandywine Creek Farms 2nd Chance Farmer Program.  Jonathan and Amanda have three sons, Gabriel 20, Elijah 18, and Daniel 15.  Gabriel attends Anderson University.  Elijah is a full time employee/manager of the farm and is planning on attending Ivy Tech School of Agriculture.  Daniel works the farm when not attending to his schooling.
